FeaturedTLL Open Traders
Complete server-side control over how traders work — schedules, teleports, discovery, rumors, restock, and modded trader support.
About this mod
NEW IN V3.1.1
Full engine port for 3.0/3.1 — traders became entities in 3.0 and the mod now drives the new trade systems natively. /tp back is now a true "undo my last teleport" that no longer eats your cooldown, with a new /back shortcut. Trader identity resolution hardened across every feature. Existing configs carry over untouched.
OVERVIEW
Complete server-side control over how traders work in 7 Days to Die — schedules, Blood Moon rules, trader teleport, personal teleports, restock control, trader discovery, rumors, radio chatter, announcements, and modded trader support. Works on dedicated servers, hosted listen servers, and single-player. No client install required — drop it in your Mods folder and it works.
TRADER SCHEDULING
- •Custom trader hours — global, per-day, weekend, Blood Moon, or per-trader
- •Blood Moon override — force traders open, closed, or run custom horde-night hours
- •Weekend override — different hours from the rest of the week
- •Individual schedules for Bob, Hugh, Jen, Joel, and Rekt
- •Overnight windows supported (22:00–06:00 wraps midnight correctly)
- •Automatic open/close chat announcements with color-coded OPEN/CLOSED output
- •Optional countdown warnings before traders open or close (10/5/1 minutes)
TRADER TELEPORT
- •/tp Bob — fast travel to any trader by name
- •/tp Bob 2 — pick a specific instance when a map has duplicates
- •/tp back — undo your last teleport of any kind (/tp, /fav, or /tp home), cooldown-free
- •/back — quick shortcut for /tp back
- •/trader Bob — check a trader's status, distance, and direction without teleporting
- •Per-player cooldowns, combat blocks, and Blood Moon restrictions — all configurable
PERSONAL TELEPORTS
- •/fav — save one personal location anywhere on the map
- •/tp home — anchor to your own bedroll or land claim, re-verified on every use
- •Both share the /tp cooldown and respect combat and Blood Moon rules
TRADER DISCOVERY
- •Require players to physically visit a trader before /tp works for them
- •Unknown traders show as ??? or stay hidden until found
- •Opening a trader's UI always counts as a visit
- •New players auto-unlock their nearest trader so they always have a starting option
TRADER IMMERSION
- •Per-trader welcome messages whispered when a player opens the trade window
- •Proximity rumors — traders whisper to players who walk near their compound
- •Server-wide trader radio broadcasts on a configurable interval
- •Condition-based messages — trigger by time of day, player health, Blood Moon, and more
RESTOCK CONTROL
- •Override the vanilla restock interval with any custom value
- •Per-trader restock timers — Bob daily, Jen weekly, whatever fits your server
- •Optional "Trader X has restocked" broadcast with configurable color
ADMIN CONTROLS
- •/ot open, /ot close, /ot auto — manual override or resume the schedule
- •/ot reload — apply config changes without restarting the server
- •/ot diag — live health summary of every service
- •/ot status, /ot announce, /ot verbose, /ot version, /ot discovery reset
- •Configurable permission level
CUSTOM AND MODDED TRADER SUPPORT
- •Matches any modded trader by entity class name with forgiving prefix handling
- •Hardened identity resolution — rumors, discovery, welcomes, and per-trader rules bind reliably even to traders the game hasn't formally linked to their compound
- •Tested with Project Z Overhaul and AEC Endgame Overhaul x Project Z
