Getting Started on The Loot Lounge

Welcome to The Loot Lounge. This page covers your first hour on the server and lists every command you'll use. The server runs Project Z, a big survival overhaul, plus a lot of content built for this server. The other guides go into each part in detail.
Your first hour
- Open your welcome kit. The TLL Starter Bundle is in your toolbelt. Hold it and use it to get a Quality 5 pistol with 48 hollow-point rounds, a torch, a full medical kit, food, drinks, two repair kits and three TLL Chips. Type /kit if you can't find it.
- Go to the nearest trader. Your first quest, Somewhere to Start, marks the closest trader on your map. Traders are safe ground: nothing can hurt you inside the fence.
- Finish the Basics of Survival. These are the game's own starter challenges. When they're done, the First Light quests start and teach you the rest of the server. See the Missions guide.
- Link your Steam account on the website. TLL Coins can't reach you until you do. Log in, open your profile and link Steam.
- Press ESC. The Loot Lounge menu has server info, commands, events and your stats all in one place.
You're protected while you learn. Until level 10, dying doesn't cost you XP, and you tire and stress more slowly. That protection fades as you level up.
The rules
- The server is PvE everywhere except marked zones: The Pit, the four gang turfs and the Black Market. You get a warning when you enter one.
- No stealing from other players' bases.
- No griefing or claim blocking.
- Be respectful in chat.
- No cheating, duping or exploiting.
- Need an admin? Open a ticket on the website.

- A home has to be set at your bedroll or land claim.
- Free players' favourite spot clears when the server restarts. VIP favourites are kept.
- All teleports share one cooldown.
- /tp home and /fav don't work during a blood moon or within 30 seconds of a fight. /tp to a trader always works.
Trader jobs
You can hold up to 5 trader jobs at once. Jobs shared with you by your party don't count toward the limit. House Contracts and other TLL missions don't use up your daily trader quests.
Quick help in game
- /help: how to get answers in game.
- Type a single word such as traders, blood moon or rules in chat, and the answer comes straight back.
- !ask followed by a question asks Lou, the server's assistant.

Getting around

Fixing problems

| /bag | Teleport to your last death backpack |
| /fetch | Bring your vehicles or drone to you, even from far away |
| /wipeme, then /wipeme confirm | Clear your backpack and toolbelt (armour is kept). Use it for stuck quest items. You're kicked briefly so the game reloads clean. |
| /resetdrone | Delete a stuck drone so you can place a new one |
Coins and the Vault
