Money on the Server: Dukes, Coins and Chips
The Loot Lounge has three kinds of money. Each one does a different job, and you can't swap one for another.
| Currency | What it is | Where you spend it |
|---|---|---|
| Dukes | The game's normal trader money | Any trader in game |
| TLL Coins | Website points for playing and taking part | The Vault → Coin Store |
| TLL Chips | Earned in game only, never sold | The Vault → High Rollers |
The Vault is on the website; log in to open it. At the top of the page you switch between its two stores: the Coin Store, which takes coins, and High Rollers, which takes chips.
Dukes
Dukes work the same as in the base game. You earn them by selling to traders, doing trader quests and looting, and you spend them at traders. The Black Market Trader also takes Dukes.
TLL Coins and the Coin Store
Coins are how the server rewards you for playing. Link your Steam account on the website first, because coins can't reach you until you do. Type /wallet in game to see your balance.
How you earn coins
- Daily login: +2 every day you log in, on the website or in game. You get +5 extra at a 3-day streak and +15 extra on every 7th day in a row.
- Voting: +25 per vote on 7daystodie-servers.com, added automatically within a few minutes. Type /vote in game for the link. A voting streak pays +10 at 3 days and +25 from 7 days.
- Achievements: every badge pays when you unlock it. Common +10, Uncommon +20, Rare +30, Epic +60, Legendary +100.
- Community ranks: posting and replying on the forum, linking Steam and logging in daily earn activity points. Each of the 15 ranks you climb pays once, from +5 up to +600.
- Staying alive: +10 after 24 hours without dying, +75 at 3 real-world days and +200 at 7. One death resets it.
What the Coin Store sells
Supply crates, ammo, tools and building supplies, armor mods, weapons, vehicles, decor, stat boosts, boss summons, services and bundles.
Getting what you bought
What you buy goes into your Vault inventory on the website. Type /claim in game and it is delivered to you. Leave room in your backpack first.
VIP members get a monthly coin payment, earn bonus coins faster, and pay less in the Vault. See the VIP page for the tiers.
TLL Chips and High Rollers
Chips are the server's endgame money. You can't buy them with real money or coins; you have to earn them in game. They are also real items you carry, so they can be lost and stolen.
The six chips
| Chip | Worth |
|---|---|
| White | 1 |
| Red | 5 |
| Blue | 10 |
| Green | 25 |
| Black | 50 |
| Gold | 100 |
How you earn chips
- House Contracts: every floor's boss drops chips, and higher floors drop more. See the Missions guide.
- Raid Contracts: the biggest chip payouts on the server.
- The Pit: the PvP zone pays chips, and the rarest chips come from there.
- Turf: capturing a turf pays chips to the winners, and turf product and Gold Bars sell for chips at the Black Market.
Banking your chips
Chips in your backpack are at risk. If you die, they drop with your bag, and anyone can pick them up. Banking them keeps them safe and makes them spendable.
- Go to any trader and find the Cashier's Cage on the counter.
- Open it and put your chips in.
- Close it and stay nearby until it tells you the chips are banked.
The House keeps a cut of every deposit, and it gets smaller the more House Contracts you clear:
| House Contracts cleared | House cut |
|---|---|
| Under 10 | 20% |
| 10 | 16% |
| 25 | 13% |
| 50 | 10% |
Chips you earn at the Black Market register go straight into your bank, so you don't need the Cage for those.
Prices are in chip colours
Every High Rollers item costs a set number of specific colours, not just a total. The Dealer (150) costs 100 white and 10 red. Snake Eyes (10,000) costs 60 gold, 60 black and 40 green. Before you buy, look at the colours on the item and check that you have banked enough of each one. Having 10,000 in white chips won't buy Snake Eyes.
Getting what you bought
Your chips are not taken when you buy. They are taken from your bank when you type /claim in game. If you are short of any colour at that point, you get your chips back and the item stays in the Vault.
What High Rollers sells
About 70 items, from 150 to 10,000:
- Weapons: base-game guns and melee weapons rebuilt to hit much harder, each with its own signature effect.
- Armor sets: Concierge, Blackjack, High Roller, Card Counter and The Whale. Wearing more pieces of the same set gives set bonuses.
- Vehicles: from the Valet at 900 up to the Leviathan and the Cooler at 10,000.
- Gadgets: short buffs, healing and quest boosts.
- Pit Breaker ammo: the only rounds that do real damage to a Pit boss.
- House-Marked Rounds and the House Warding Plate: you need both for the Raid Contracts.
Higher rarity (white, blue, green, black, gold) means a higher price and a stronger item.
Quick answers
- Can I turn coins into chips, or chips into coins? No. They are kept separate on purpose.
- Why is my chip total bigger than the number of chips I have? The website shows what your banked chips are worth, not how many there are. Three gold chips show as 300.
- I died carrying chips. Are they gone? They are in your death backpack, so get to it before someone else does. Type /bag to teleport to your last death backpack.
